Backpack program supports kids in need

The Blessing in a Backpack program was brought to Thunder Bay by Amina Abu-Bakare who saw a need to address the food insecurity of many of our community’s children. Many programs and services were available to provide food during the week, but children in need did not have support on the weekends.
